REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR OUR 2023/24 SEASON!

We have changed our 'Academy' programme up this year to now be called Omanu Academy. This programme will now include a Sunday Junior Surf session as well as Tuesday and Friday evenings. Our Omanu Academy is available to those aged 9 (as at 30 September 2023) up to those who are 14yrs. This programme helps to extend the board and ocean skills of our junior members and is a stepping stone on the pathway to ocean athletes.

Omanu Academy is designed to transition children to a Surf Lifesaving paddle board (foam and fibreglass), to be part of Omanu Academy your child must be:

• Fully Paid Fees prior to attending.
• Achieved their 200m Safety Vest Test prior to attending.
• Have a parent in attendance as water safety or on the beach at all times during the session.

Omanu Academy Dates for 2023/24 

2023 

Sunday Beach Sessions: Sunday 5th November to 10th December 9am

Mid Week Board Sessions: Tuesday 7^th November to Tuesday 19^th December 5pm

2024 

Mid Week Board Sessions: Tuesday 9^th January to Friday 22^nd March

Sunday Beach Sessions: Sunday 14th January to Saturday/Sunday 23rd/24th March TBC

Tuesday 26^th January - Welcome to Oceans Session for kids from U10 nippers & Academy who are eligible & keen to join the Ocean Athletes squad (U11-U14) for 2024/2025 season.
