Our Senior Squad programme caters for U15+ athletes.
We offer professional coaching within our programme, swimming, board or ski paddling, racing and the beach events of sprints and beach flags.
We ask the following requirements of our Senior Squad athletes;
- Be a qualified and refreshed lifeguard
- Hold a current financial membership of Omanu SLSC
- Volunteer a minimum of 20 hours over the season.
Senior Squad Surf training and competition provides our members with the opportunity to refine and practice their lifesaving skills in the competition arena at local, regional, national and international level. Surf Sports is a large component of surf lifesaving and helps Omanu SLSC retain quality lifeguards.

Membership Fees
Summer Season - We ask all our Senior athletes to sign up and be a registered member of Omanu Beach Surf Lifesaving Club for the season.
Seniors training fee, including lifeguarding membership = $170
Winter Season = $170
