REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2024/25 SUMMER SEASON ARE NOW OPEN!

Our Rookie Junior Lifeguard Programme provides the vital bridge between Junior Surf and Lifeguarding. It is an educational programme that introduces children aged 12-13 to a higher level of lifeguarding skills such as first aid, CPR, communication (radio and other) and patrolling requirements. Ultimately, growing them into our lifeguards of the future. Although there is a Rookies Challenge at the end of the season (for Eastern Regional Clubs and must be 13 years old), the programme is not competitive and previous participation in Junior Surf activities is not required.

Make friends, understand more about our beach and ocean environment, and learn practical skills that will help you become a lifeguard, and provide service to your community.

Rookies Opening Session for the 2024/25 season is Sunday the 3rd November 10:00am to 11:00am downstairs at the club
