Omanu SLSC Welcomes Scott Bartlett to the role of General Manager
Omanu SLSC is pleased to be able to announce the appointment of Scott Bartlett to the newly created General Manager role.
This is a fantastic result, and in conjunction with the recently secured services of Cory Hutchings gives us an incredible base of expertise, experience and enthusiasm to build on.
Scott will be no stranger to many, having first been involved with Omanu in 2009 when he held the role of Head Coach.
The General Manager role is a central part of the Omanu SLSC's stratgic plan, and will lead the team in designing, implementing and fostering key platforms and relationships - incuding the critical volunteer base that is so important to the Club. Across lifeguarding, sport, club facilities and social and community engagement, Scott will be helping ensure that Omanu SLSC remains a strong, vibrant club with a positive growth mindset.
Scott has an ideal background to take on this role. As the founder and operator of the highly successful Bartlett Swim School , he brings hands-on business, Health & Satefy, people and financial management skills as well as an incredible local and national sports based network.
Scott is also incredibly highly regarded in surflifesaving circles, having held senior roles with Surf Lifesaving NZ and their High Performance Team, including as Assistant Coach and then Head Coach of the World Champion 2012 and 2014 New Zealand Black Fins team. Scott has also been a national selector for 14 seasons for Black Fins and the High Performance National Sport Program.
Welcome back Scott!
