Mercury Engine Annual Service Workshops
Saturday 9 August 2025; Omanu Beach SLSC
? An opportunity for Clubs to service operational IRB engines in a structured workshop.
1. Candidates will learn about basic engine maintenance/service requirements.
2. Club IRB engines will be “fit for purpose” for the operational season.
⏰ Time: 10am start – 3pm approx. finish
? Cost: FREE – Candidates are required to bring own lunch
?♀️? You do not need to be lifeguard to attend, you just need an interest in IRB operations. This could be a perfect opportunity to involve parents or Club supporters.
Adult Lifeguard & Patrol Support Development Day Are you an adult looking to develop new skills while connecting with like-minded people? Join us for a special development day designed for both lifeguards and patrol support!
Date: Saturday, 18th October
Location: Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service
Lunch & Morning Tea provided
This day will include a range of theory workshops, scenario-based training, and practical elements to suit everyone. Whether you want to upskill, gain confidence, or meet new people, this is a great opportunity!

Radio Operators Module
SLSNZ have a quick Radio Operators module that we would like you all to complete please as this will help your operating skills and look good on your resume, this is found on your Etrainu log in.
First Lifeguard Exam of 2025/2026 season - 11th October at Papamoa

There will be exams running each month from October through to March.
