REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2024/25 SUMMER SEASON ARE NOW OPEN!

Our Oceans Programme is for all U11 - U14 children (must be at least 10 years old as of 30 September 2024) looking to extend their water and board skill confidence through our Programme with the goal to compete at Oceans at the end of the season.

• Athletes will require their 200m swim badge signed off by their coach prior to attending training and provide a copy of the time to the office please. More info on 200m badges here

We ask that over the course of the season athletes are committed to attending carnivals in the build up to the annual Oceans event at the end of the season.  Some of the skills that our athletes can expect to develop are; 

• Board Paddling 
• Surf Swimming
• Rescue Events (tube and board rescue)
• Beach Events – sprinting, beach flags and distance running
• Team Events – tube and board rescue and relays

Membership Fees

We ask all our Oceans athletes to sign up and be a registered member of Omanu Beach Surf Lifesaving Club for the season. 

Oceans training fee = $180 

Under the Family Membership the Ocean athlete Member Fees are covered, the Oceans training fee still applies = $180

Equipment:

Oceans board hire is $110

Please note payment is required on the last step of the registration process to complete the application.
